Olaf Lambooy, Regional Director, Telstra International - Australia/New Zealand (A/NZ)
As Regional Director, Telstra International Australia and New Zealand, Olaf leads the international sales, pre-sales and service management teams in Australia and New Zealand. Olaf’s 20 years of experience in the international telecommunications industry has provided him with impressive insight into customer needs. He has enjoyed working as a senior executive in many segments spanning banking and finance, professional services, media, mining, manufacturing, transport and distribution, and government.
This extensive experience has been gained with companies of all sizes and in many environments, most specifically multi national companies. His superior understanding of customer requirements and of the industry has seen his team achieve double digit growth year on year over the past 3 years.
Terry Hart, Chief Executive Officer, Telstra International - EMEA
As Chief Executive Officer Terry leads Telstra International, Europe, Middle East and Africa in driving value for customers and shareholders alike.
Terry joined Telstra EMEA in 2007 and has considerable experience in senior general management and finance positions for a number of blue chip companies. Previous roles include UK Finance Director then UK Managing Director at Easynet where he managed the company through a period of high growth and transition. Prior to that he held senior finance positions at Williams Lea and Serco and he trained as a Chartered Accountant at BDO. Terry has also acted as Non-Executive Chairman of Direct Wonen plc.
Will Hughs, Acting CEO, Telstra International - Americas
Will Hughs is Senior Vice President, Product and Design for Telstra International’s US subsidiary, Telstra Incorporated. Mr. Hughs is responsible for Telstra’s product, marketing, engineering and commercial functions for the US region. As SVP, Product and Design, Mr. Hughs works with Telstra International’s Global Product teams to localize product sets and solutions for the US Service Provider and Enterprise markets.
Mr. Hughs began his technology career in the Systems Integrator space as an MCSE/CCNA designing Microsoft and Cisco solutions for large enterprises based in the San Francisco Bay area.
Mr. Hughs joined Telstra in 1999 as a Sales Engineer in California where his knowledge of managed services led the effort to secure numerous WAN outsourcing deals which represented over half of Telstra’s business for the first four years of its expansion into the US market. In 2002 Mr. Hughs directed the engineering and commercial aspects of Telstra’s expansion into the LATAM market. Since then he has held a variety of Sales and Engineering roles, including Regional Business Manager, Director of Engineering and Director of Technical Business Development before joining the Senior Management team in 2006.
Mr. Hughs received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Greg Russell, Senior Vice President, Telstra International - Asia
Greg is the Senior Vice President of Telstra International, Asia, based in Singapore. He is responsible for driving strategy, sales, marketing and business development for Telstra International across Asia Pacific. He has implemented several initiatives to expand investments and shore up resources in the region, and Prior to joining Telstra International, Greg was General Manager of Sales for BT Global Services in Southeast Asia. He grew year-on-year sales by threefold, and transformed the BT sales force from a primarily B-end support team to an enterprise sales force, and grew sales by three-fold year-on-year within two years. Greg also developed the regional go-to-market strategy, and collaborated with colleagues across Asia and Europe.
During his ten years at WorldCom International, he worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Netherlands and London, and was awarded “Presidents Club” membership for high achievers
Murray Hankinson, Director - Corporate Development, Strategy and Global Marketing
As Director of Corporate Development, Strategy and Global Marketing for Telstra International worldwide, Murray’s responsibility is to drive profitable organic and transformational growth, and maintain our customer focused thought leadership in the ICT industry.
Murray has over 15 years of broad international telecoms and media experience in the UK, Australia, Asia and the United States. Leading teams in marketing, business development, corporate finance, investment management and strategy he has extensive experience gained from senior roles with Telstra International, Telstra Corporation, Consolidated Press Holdings and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Darren Wilson, Director Global Customer Service
As Director Global Customer Service, Darren leads a virtual team across the globe. He is responsible for setting strategy, culture and direction of customer service functions that contribute to Telstra International strategic direction. Darren is a professional engineer in telecommunications management with 24 years experience in the delivery and management of telecommunications products, projects and staff. He has extensive network design, operations and customer delivery experience. His leadership with the financial and project management of large and complex infrastructure deployments in the international arena has been integral to the success of Telstra International’s customer service.
Gina Nomellini, General Manager Global Products
Gina Nomellini is General Manager, Global Products for Telstra International. She is responsible for Telstra International’s full suite of global products overseeing the marketing and development of all regional and global services to meet the rapidly changing and sophisticated needs of multinational enterprise and service provider customers. She has been instrumental in establishing and growing business relationships with international carrier partners and is directly involved in the development of Telstra’s Ethernet service portfolio and access programme.
Gina brings 12 years of marketing and product development experience. Previously, she led product management for domestic and international off-net services at Level 3 Communications and Broadwing Communications. Her roles have included product management for traditional and emerging technologies, strategic management of outside consulting firms, market research, competitive analysis, and vendor management.
Michael Voyias, Global Financial and Commercial Manager
Michael leads the financial and commercial operations of Telstra International. With a wealth of experience, his understanding of legal and regulatory environments has made him an invaluable member of the team. In his 5 years at Telstra International, Michael has ensured the company’s compliance whilst always ensuring the best outcome for Telstra International and our customers. His vision and ability to meticulously analyse complex accounts has enabled him to help orchestrate the company’s exponential global growth. Michael now has 15 years experience managing the financial affairs of telecommunication companies. Prior to joining Telstra, Michael spent a decade as financial controller with the global Telco now known as Pacnet Australia. He also has extensive experience in other industries as a senior accountant and financial controller.
